The space

Room #1 sits at the end of the corridor, offering a bit more quiet and privacy while keeping the same relaxed coastal vibe.

The property is a small beachside house in Playa La Perla, a traditional Salvadoran fishing village where life moves with the tides. I live on-site, one room is rented long-term, and another guest room may occasionally be available.

Guests share a clean kitchen, shaded patio, a large pool overlooking the beach, and a shared beachfront palapa — perfect for relaxing, reading, or enjoying the sea breeze in the shade. The pool is spacious enough for a real swim, not just a dip.

🐶 Friendly dogs live on the property and are part of daily life here. One is an avid swimmer who sometimes takes himself for a dip in the pool or the ocean!

🌡️ No A/C — cooled naturally by ocean breeze and a ceiling fan.

🌊 Wave sounds can be loud at night — most guests find them soothing.

🌧️ Rainy season (May–Oct) brings refreshing showers and the unique sound of rain on the tin roof.

The beach is just steps away — perfect for morning walks or sunset views.

Each room has its own secure lock and key.

This is a shared home, and at times there may be other short-term guests or local residents on-site.

Everyone values a calm, respectful, and friendly atmosphere — perfect for those who enjoy connection without crowds.

Playa La Perla is a peaceful, welcoming fishing village that offers an authentic glimpse of Salvadoran coastal life.

There are no supermarkets or nightlife here — just the sound of the ocean, friendly neighbors, and calm, easy days.
For a change of pace, El Zonte (15 min) and El Tunco (30 min) offer restaurants, cafés, and a lively surf scene.

Because services and transport are limited locally, renting a car or scooter is highly recommended if you plan to explore or dine out.

📹 For everyone’s comfort and property care, discreet outdoor cameras monitor the staircase, driveway, gate, and pool area.
