About this space

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located space on the Creeper Trail at the Watauga Trailhead. Conveniently located just 8 minutes from Main St in Abingdon (4 miles via the VCT) or a 15-20min drive to Damascus(12 miles biking via the VCT), 30mins from Bristol Motor Speedway and 15mins from South Holston Lake. Come relax in the newly finished Coach House space above the garage, sit and enjoy coffee/wine by the creek running through the backyard or do nothing at all. It’s your getaway.

The space

The newly completed space is setup perfectly to be used how you need it. With blazing fast Fiber internet, it’s great for anyone working remotely.
You’ll have a great view of the backyard while sitting at the dining/work table. While the space is cozy and comfortable, we do welcome you to explore the backyard. There are a couple of creekside locations that make for a relaxing morning/afternoon just soaking in the sounds. You may see a Blue and/or Green Heron in the creek, owls, otters, groundhogs, deer, etc. Enjoy! There are two ways to access the Virginia Creeper Trail from our property dependent on your intended destination: Abingdon or Alvarado(Winery: 5miles)/Damascus.

Guest access

You’ll have access to the entire apartment. We ask that you park under the basketball goal and travel to the left/west side of the garage around the back, where you’ll find the entrance with a touchpad lock to access the space.

*Note: You may notice that one of the Location settings says “Lake view”. We chose that because “Creek view” isn’t an option. And the creek is bigger than a stream. 🙂
