Castle in the Sand West is a stunning gulf-front development located in one of the best areas along Alabama’s Gulf Coast, in Orange Beach, AL. This newer property features an East and West unit, and when both sides are rented, it is one of the largest properties along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Each side can accommodate 14-26 guests and is situated in one of the best locations along the entire Gulf Coast. This home sits approximately half a mile west of the Florida/Alabama state line and one mile east of the Perdido Pass Bridge in the heart of Orange Beach.

Gulf-front splendor awaits at our unforgettable beach house in the heart of Orange Beach, featuring a pristine private pool and 9 opulent bedrooms. Rent only the west side of the property (this listing) and sleep up to 26 guests, or rent the nearly identical other half—Castle in the Sand East—to double your sleeping space. PLEASE note, there are louvered privacy walls between all balconies and a 9 ft privacy wall between the pool decks. You will have total privacy between the units. The dune walk to the beach is the only shared feature between the two properties.

Beachfront is the best way to enjoy Orange Beach, and this home provides a prime spot directly on the Gulf, accessed via your own private boardwalk over the dunes. Sip your morning coffee while enjoying a stunning panoramic view of the rolling Gulf. Lazy beach days lead seamlessly to dinner and drinks in the golden sunlight of the evening. To the north, views of the Ole River add another perspective to Orange Beach’s abundant coastal beauty and diverse ecosystems.

With 5,000 sq. ft. of interior space and an additional 2,000 sq. ft. of private, covered decks and balconies just for this half of the property, our home will truly be your castle. Each half of the property is tucked away from the other with privacy walls for all outdoor spaces. Note also that your pool is NOT shared with the East unit—each half of the home has its own private pool oasis, heated to perfection.

The first floor is hangout central, featuring a large living area with a 65-inch flat-screen Smart TV and a separate sunroom that’s drenched in natural light. Roomy leather couches, armchairs, and slipper chairs provide space for everyone to lounge in the A/C after an active day at the beach. Sun and water views are fully displayed through huge windows.

Entertainment Room

Upstairs, have a family movie night in the entertainment room, which features a giant sectional sofa and a 55-inch flat-screen TV.

Private Pool and Balconies

Overlook the Gulf from the private pool on the southern sundeck or from one of five south-facing private balconies located on each floor. An outdoor freshwater shower is ready for rinsing off the salt and sand you brought back from the beach!

With its dual refrigerators and dishwashers, 5-burner gas range stove, and double ovens—all in ultra-modern stainless steel—creating exquisite meals is as easy as the Gulf breezes. Don’t battle the restaurant crowds; the best seat in the house is at your own vacation rental!

The kitchen also features multiple coffeemakers, including a Keurig. Out on the private deck, you’ll find both a charcoal and gas grill. Let the epic barbecues commence!

The dining area can seat up to 16 people comfortably when you add the kitchen’s roomy center island, which seats 4 adjacent to the 12-person dining table—all with an astounding view of the Gulf’s turquoise water.

Renters must be over 27 years of age. Wire transfers are not permitted. Sorry, NO college or spring break groups! NO SMOKING. Linens are included on all beds, but please bring your own beach towels. Amenities include free WiFi, cable, and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive a starter pack of laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and a travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom.
