New Mexico Bunkhouse

This cozy mountain bunkhouse is situated in the mountains of southern New Mexico near Cloudcroft at around 7800 ft elevation. It’s the perfect all season escape. This Airbtc experience is a converted Montessori schoolhouse on a small working farm where all of the animals are kid friendly. Your hostess, Miss T, will take your kids every morning on a farm adventure. She will show them what the animals eat, how to care for them and what benefits they bring to the farm. From the ducks at the “Someday Pond” to the chickens, goats (mini and large), horse, rabbits and Guinea pigs there is something for everyone to cuddle and hold. The property has a full playground that was moved from the old elementary school in town, with swings, slides and more. 

Hunters love our cabin for its proximity to the National Forest and come up every fall for world class Elk hunting. Hikers and adventures love it because its a short walk to the nation forest and a short drive to rivers, streams and waterfalls. In the winter you can sled down the tubing hill or go to the Cloudcroft Ski area. We are a 45 minute drive to the town of Ruidoso and Ski Apache.
