About this space

Gorgeous house/cottage with wonderful lake view and large garden easily accessible along the road. The house has been renovated in recent years and is both very fresh and fully equipped with laundry room, dishwasher, fiber (1000/1000) with fast mesh Wi-Fi throughout the house and garden, cable TV etc.

Everything you’d normally need to bring yourself is included! Bed linen, towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, shower and hand soap, household and toilet paper.

Gas grill with free use.
AC-unit that both heats and cools. Electric radiators also available in each room for extra heating.

A cozy conservatory with electric heating if needed.

Halleberg and Hunneberg:
Since 2022 designated as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
Both mountains are nature reserves with fantastic hiking trails and rich biodiversity.
Kungajaktmuseet Älgens Berg, a museum that gives an insight into the royal hunting traditions and nature of the area.
The area is recognized as an ecopark, which emphasizes its importance for conservation and nature tourism.
There are several historical sites and ancient remains to explore.
Both mountains have several beautiful viewpoints where you can enjoy magnificent views of the largest lake in Sweden, Vänern, and the surrounding area.

Gardesanda bathing area:
Very popular child-friendly sandy beach at the foot of Halleberg.
Shallow water, perfect on sunny summer days when the water temperature is pleasant.

Last but not least, large parts of Vänersnäs including the whole property is a Natura 2000 area and part of the EU ecological network of protected areas, which emphasizes its environmental value.

Vänersnäs and its surroundings are a great place for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet in a beautiful setting!

The distance to larger settlements and shops is quite close:
ICA Älgen supermarket (which is pretty good) in Vargön is only about 10 minutes by car.
Vänersborg: approx. 15 minutes.
Trollhättan/Överby shopping center: approx. 20 minutes
